not on the same page

Oh how I HATE writers block!

In case you didn't know...i love to write. For real, i LOVE to write. Ive been writing little stories since i was a younger kid. At this point, since I've basically learned all the basics of putting a pen on paper, i have been writing a book. (so nerdy, i know) but anyway, I started it in my algebra class last semester and right now I've written up to chapter nine and who knows how many pages. ( i should count that one day). My book is all in my head and I have so many great ideas, so many characters, so many adventures that are just DYING to be put on paper for the world to read. The only problem is that sometimes these ideas want to all come out at once and I can't write it down as fast as my brain wants me to. Just tonight while i was babysitting and the child i watch was asleep, i sat there with my green binder that holds my book and i began to write. I wrote i think about three or four pages for the book and then i just.....stopped.

My brain moving and i just couldn't continue without screwing everything up.

I had planned to maybe be done with my first draft to my first book by the beginning of sophomore year, but writing is so much harder than i imagined that i fear i may never be done. This is what i want to do, though. I want to be the next J.K. Rowling or Stephanie Meyer ( im Mormon so im already half way there. haha) and i want to be able to tell my children how their mom published her first book before she was even out of high school. But is my dream even possible? With all the summer work i have to do, plus how much i am gone or busy, i feel like it is only a pipe dream that can't come true. But just think about it....to be able to say that my first book was sold before i graduated high school would be the highlight of my life. I want to entertain people, to make them think, to allow them the chance to escape the real world. I want to write

Character #5 - Kara

Oh my gracious, this girl is the most beautiful, most crazy, most hilarious friend a girl like me could ever ask for. Kara and I met in my first semester in D214 Honors Algebra. Man, we had some good times goofing off there :) every time I think back on the class I think of her smiling face cracking some joke. Ever since that class we have become really good friends and I can always talk to her when I need to get something off my chest. She makes me so happy with all the funny little things she does.

Just yesterday night while I was texting her we decided that we are going to be sisters. We look so much alike already we might as well make it official! Kara and Gabriella are now sisters. oh goodness how i love this girl so much! This summer with her is going to be amazing because i know i can always turn to her if i ever need a laugh!

Character #4 - Jessica

So this girl right here would be Jessica. I love her to death. She is like, miss sophisticated with an attitude. She wears her pearls and if you piss her off, you're screwed. But she is the funniest person ever in the most upfront way. Jessica is like my little vampire! Everyone in a group swears she should try out for twilight(cursed be the title) because shes got the pale skin, dark hair, yellow eyes, SUPER tall, thin, and shes just..a Cullen. lol Most times I talk about her will be funny things like her yelling out something random. Oh how i love her >

We apparently met first semester when i wrote love on her arm for TWLOHA day, but I can't remember it. When we met on gym....OH GOODNESS we had some great times :)

This kid helps me with every thing and listens to all my crap about boys and such and i think shes the only person who puts up with it. I tell her EVERYTHING because i know i can trust her and i love her and yeah (:

The Vampire Hawk

SUMMER!

Freedom!

The school year has officially ended and I am a free woman! No more Greek Philosophy, no more world war studies, no more pointless sports, no more unprepared speeches. It's just me and my best friends till August(: What could be better?

To kick off my summer, we randomly found an adorable dog wandering our street. We know it belongs to someone because it's trained and virtually fleeless and it sucks that we have to look for the owner pronto. But for now it's staying with us! yay for dogs!

Today did not feel like the end of the year AT ALL. I still feel like I need to wake up extra early tomorrow to head to school! My friends and I all smiled and had a few sentimental moments, but hey, its not like we wont see each other! This isn't the end, it's only the beginning of a whole new adventure will people i know and love. And maybe. just maybe. some new people will enter my life(: that would be nice, wouldn't it? having that HSM-style summer love to go back to school and dream about? Too that only happens in movies. In the real world summer love isn't so glamourous....if it happens at all.

it's only happens to the lucky people (cough cough, kara and megan). For the rest of us average teenage girls, it's all about laughing with the girls which is what i plan to do :D

LAUGH OUT LOUD MOMENT

Every time something funny happens randomly out of nowhere it will be a laugh out loud moment. So here is the very first one!

So there is this guy that I have been crushing on since the beginning of the semester and today I was talking to him while waiting for my ride home. We have this little friendship bracelet joke and so i drew, with pen, a little friendship bracelet on his wrist and he did the same to me. It was all cute and yakity yak.

LITTLE DID I KNOW that Megan and Jessica (soon to be featured on the character list) were STARING at us from not even 10 feet away! They eventually graduated from staring to taking creeper pictures of us! When Megan got in her car and left she sends me a picture of me standing with the guy I like (we will call him....J.C.). They were being total creepers and spying on me and somehow i didn't even notice. My friend's could be creepers.

Character #3- Megan

Where to even begin with this child? hmmm....well this right here is Megan and I have known her on and off since I was like, 7. We played AYSO soccer together as little kids and she magically popped up again in 8th grade when she came to play for my middle school soccer team because her private school didn't have a team. Then once again she magically appeared in my second semester this year when we had the same gym class! I think God wanted us to be friends for some reason and it took him three tries for us to finally become close! Now we're besties and I absolutely don't know what I would do without her in my life!

Megan is the happiest person I know who always makes me smile. She's a soccer genius and caring kind of person. Most stories I'll tell on this blog that involve her also involve creeping, blonde moments, and "well that was awkward" moments. She makes me happy(:

The Happy Hawk

Character #2 - Emily

This girl right here is my best friend in the entire world. Emily and I have been tight since seventh grade and we know everything about each other right down to the nitty gritty.

Now here is one of those high school tragedies that will make us sad when we grow up....While I went HVA to become a hawk, Emily went to a private christian school to become a warrior. First semester nothing really changed between us and we were still the best friends we'd always been. Then second semester pulled out its daggers. Our lives started getting super overly busy and we stopped seeing each other every weekend like we used to. Not too long ago we got in a fight because of the neglect from each other, but we're mending the pieces slowly. Next month her and I are going to Hawaii and I know everything will go back to normal(: I love her very much and she always makes me happy! It doesn't take much to get us to have fun and i hope she reads this and knows how much I care about her and how much I am sorry for not seeing her as often anymore. I love you EMILYY!!

Character #1 - Me!

Well I am a character in my own sitcom, right? Not to mention, like every other American teenage girl, I have the right to be a little self absorbed! So here is a little about the main star(:

I am a biracial nerd, everyone says I'm a white girl with a tan, but the tan is natural I swear! I love love love to take pictures and write. Next year I will be on my school newspaper and taking a photography class that I'm not supposed to be allowed to take (I showed them portfolio and walaa! photo-class!). I play tennis for my school and I love it very much. Just this week our number one boys tennis player made it to regional tournament which is a historical thing for my school. Which is another thing! My high school is only two years old so its my generation thats starting all the traditions! My blog junkie friends, you are witnessing educational history! (more or less).

Anyway! Back to meeeee! yeah, there isn't much to say else about me. I am assuming you can figure out for yourself who you think I am.

Meeting The Cast

You could put my life in the terms of a sitcom. There is sometimes drama, heartbreak, and intense moments that make me wonder how i even survived. But most of all, my life is filled to the rim with comedy. I laugh more each day then i cry in a month. I laugh so much that if I'm not, there is something seriously wrong. It is because of my amazing friends, my hawks, that I am so happy. They are the steps that lead me to who I am.

Hello Blog World!

Just want to let anyone who reads this know, this blog is about my life as a teenager and the people around me. I'm going to be gone a lot over the summer and i made this blog so that my friends and i will always know what's going on in life. Disconnection from friends is like death to a social butterfly like me.
